One of the many 'Corporate Tortures'

Sitting in the world's most boring session,
I feel I'm being taken for the final execution.
No lawyer no judge, I'm left to my own pity,
And this is all because of our very own deity*.

People are yawning, people are sleeping,
God save us as some of us are even weeping.
He is happy as his wish is granted, but
mark my words "Everyone will come out panted".

Still I can say it was fruitful to me,
as I have utilized my time the best way it could be.
Unbelievable, but still I want more such sessions
as it gives me time to follow my little passion.

Grotesque Democracy: Any Answers ?

It's been said and written again and again that the present Indian government is in state of jeopardy and speculations are made everywhere about the future of our government. Why it should not be so?Being the largest democracy of the world, every nation is interested about happenings in our country, our democracy and our government. The latest is the case of Left withdrawing support from the ruling UPA government, which has lamed this government in one blow. The cause being the disagreement over Indo-US Nuclear Deal. I'm not here to discuss the pros and cons of the deal, lest it comes into operation. What my concern is, at the time when our Prime Minister was attending the G-8 Summit(I think importance need not be expounded), serious disruptions were going on in his country. At a time when he was signing important trade deals with some of the biggest nations, frustations were at par in his home over the treaties signed by him earlier. What impression does it make about the credibility of points and concerns we put before the world? If not stated directly, somewhere in the back of their mind they must be having apprehensions about our promise keeping worthness which we frame during such meets.
Almost every nation of the world follows the two party system, ruling and opposition, where these two major parties contest against each other at the time of elections. India also follows the same system but the irony is,here the two major political parties have seldomly came into existence as a alone. They have to seek for support of smaller parties everythime they win on national scale. These small parties ask for bigger portfolios and denying them could result in fall of government. This time the conflict was for some international deal for which both sides had their diferent opinions. Had there been just one party the deal would have also been finalized smoothly and we also would have escaped the embarassment on international platform.
The smaller parties come into existence because either they field communal issues or short term goals for the common masses. My point is if these smaller parties can hold the right nerve of people why the bigger parties fell prey to their overconfidence or letharginess. They should see to it that while contesting they are able to pursue every class of citizens and come up as one true party, so that our government does not always succumb before the smaller parties over the issues of utmost common welfare importance.
